The insurance firm needed to replace its core financial IT systems as a result of major changes to legislation – whilst managing multiple projects and vendors. Also, their in-house IT organization needed to manage large outsourcing contracts at the same time.
Subsequently, the firm wanted to manage its compliance from an all-of-organisation perspective, providing effective advice to the Board of Directors on its status of compliance and have a framework they could use to direct funding and prioritize risk mitigation activities.
