From climate and nature risk to better informed water services decisions

Water services organisations make consequential decisions about
infrastructure investment, asset performance, resilience, environmental
outcomes and service delivery. These decisions depend on the quality of
the evidence available to the people making them.
Climate and nature related information adds to that evidence. The
practical question is whether it helps an organisation decide what to
do.
Our applied methodology examines how the TNFD LEAP approach can be
used to support water infrastructure decisions. The focus is on how
information about assets, flood hazards, receiving environments,
ecosystem services, communities and investment choices can be brought
together in a structured way.
